Sovereignty & Power

Nobody Gives You This. You Build It.

by
Kathryn Maloney M.A. ABS

Kathryn sees what a system is actually running on. The fear interfering with strategy, the untapped power no one has touched, the truth no one will say, the trust waiting on someone to go first. She names it, confronts what the system works around, and holds the discomfort where change begins, across vision, leadership, communication, power, structures, culture, and brand, until what is truer and more durable emerges and holds. Thirty years inside complex, high-stakes systems stand behind her work, through Theeo, the practice she leads with the makers, builders, and mavericks doing real change in real systems.

Your power is yours. How you use it defines you – and shapes the world around you. How you apply that power in all given moments is your sovereignty. It is always accessible as your self-serving toolkit to discern how you manage your moments, direct your words, and hold yourself to account – to your truth, possibility, and potential.

Activating Your Sovereignty

Your potential ignites only through direct action. Direct action encompasses words, conscious silence, turning the other cheek, designing strategy, cutting off, or sometimes pulling up a chair. It also includes exiting. When you bypass activation, you abdicate your own potential. You leak power. Your energy field, a dynamic force extending well beyond your physical form, is yours to protect, leak, or bleed. Nobody other than you gives you your power, regardless of what the world and its decaying, control-obsessed structures reinforce on repeat.

You know intuitively and consciously when you are listening from deeply within to steer yourself and your own field, from your discernment, without others' projections.

You alone take direction from your psyche and soul. It is you who learns to listen attentively to the subtle, and not so subtle, cues your psyche and soul whisper. Often competing voices they are, rumbling in the inner sanctuary, regularly needing to be refereed by your awakening higher mind.

Leadership as Energetic Awareness

Leadership, regardless of title, tenure, position, and currency, is exactly this. And this position of leadership, in the hierarchy of energetic awareness, is open, available, and an expected role for everyone, granted by no one. The singular "hiring criterion" is that you are breathing air, living an embodied experience. The evolutionary expectation is that "you apply."

Ultimately, your power is determined by what you give – and who or what you surrender it to. If not to and from yourself first – to build wealth within – the thieves and snake oil salesmen (and women) surface disguised but as low energetic counterforces. When you aren't practicing to nurture, maintain, and act continuously from your own source of power, which demands disciplined practice, the bottom feeders and vampires smell your scent. You never want to underestimate the radioactivity of counterforce energy.

Instead, decide to be behaviorally present and energetically accountable. Show up. Learn to fortify your auric field and maintain your power base.

Building the Collective Field

Refusing an operating model bouncing systemically amidst the denser energies of scarcity, deficit, lack, control, manipulation, and fear is the evolutionary work. The physics are when enough actors in any system decide to step away from the low-vibe patterns. When people instead build and maintain themselves from personal power – sovereignty, not selfishness and possibility, not performance – they can then grid a system design of evolutionary potential.

When the collective learns to gracefully navigate an upleveled external Field, a mere reflection of their more powerful acting on it, and now confront its counterforces from fortified (not shifty), aware (not manipulative), and grounded (not apologetic) personal power together, possibility unfolds exponentially.

Innovation becomes reality. Magic happens. This doesn't occur because of anything mysterious. It happens because of the power differential in the field.
