Kathryn Maloney M.A. ABS

Kathryn Maloney is a strategy and organisation design practitioner with thirty years of direct experience inside complex, high-stakes systems. Her discipline sits at the intersection of applied behavioral science, systems design, and strategic leadership – the terrain where human behavior, organisational architecture, and business outcomes meet. She works at that intersection not theoretically but practically, with founders, executive teams, and leadership groups navigating transformation, growth, and the particular pressures of this era.

Friday Reflections

Take a moment to ask yourself:

- What is my point of focus?
- Is that point of focus what I am intending?
- What am I allowing?
- What does my heart say?
- What do I need in this moment?
- What truth is in me that I need to speak?
- What patterns (confronting or delightful) are unfolding in front of me?
- What am I choosing?
- Am I showing up to the group from my integrity?

Energy is. We cannot make it stop. We can work with it from more awareness and in a higher integrity by getting super intentional in the present moment to be in our own knowing (because we’re actively practicing un-knowing). From this presence, we direct our words, movements, and clean intent.

Triggers are awakeners. Allow them to show you. Breathe into any anxiety and fear arising. Get outside into the air. Onto the ground. Into your tummy. Power resides deep in your knowing, and transformation and disruption require this practice and cultivation of knowing from an alternative power source.

Hard word is good work. Rarely convenient. Always purposeful. Never simplistic. Exhausting and invigorating concurrently.

We’re not going back. And going forward takes leadership of a new ilk, architecture, and understanding acted upon in the micro moments, locally, wherever you roam - using skillfulness and courage that derives from a simple principle. Be.

Attend to who are you being.

You’ve got this. x
