Theeo Principle №321
Accept Change

Forgive? What does it even truly mean? How do you actually do forgiveness? I wondered this and then quite literally researched forgiveness to step into my own deep and abiding questions.

Simply stated, forgiveness is a journey of unloading stored internal narratives, reflexes, pain, and trauma without needing or expecting anything from "the perpetrator" whom your monkey mind wishes to blame or punish. Forgiveness is freeing yourself of the haunting feelings left inside you by hurt and pain experienced today, when you were five, in this, and even other lifetimes.

Consider forgiveness as somewhat surgical because it certainly does not always come easily or naturally. Change can be both catalytic and incremental. Going in there and getting that pain out, releasing it, and freeing oneself from the grip of that wrapped story, imprinting, and cellular debris resting in the psyche and physiology is work.

Forgiveness is not waiting for someone else to take ownership of your pain, projection, or the blame you cast onto them. The intent and worthwhileness of forgiving is about clearing mental, psychic, and emotional space in your own vessel. It's about opening up fresh, vital, and timely new energetics to join you on your now journey. Forgiving is releasing the old and outdated hooks, stories, narratives, and habits looping on repeat. It's about enabling far more presence and exuding far higher vibes.

Freeing yourself from the grip and weight reminds you of your innate resiliency and ability to participate in the ever-unfolding of your growth, activating your continual expansion. Carrying around the weight and sludge of unconscious pain, anger, fear, and limiting beliefs (in your heart, mind, relationships, and roles) is no fun. Releasing them to the universal garbage bin is both an act of service and self-love.

Allowing forgiveness within builds our capacity to pivot, move forward, and feel liberated from the shackles, shame, and stories of attachments. It's about freeing ourselves from the weight of unmet and inaccurate expectations.

Forgiveness activates resiliency and adaptation energy.
