Have you ever heard the expression, “What you think of me is none of my business?"

Bear it in mind the next time you feel compelled to offer your advice, feedback, or explanation. The world has been built on the idea that your projection is somehow warranted to inform, define, judge, or shame another. It’s a good mantra to remember: “What I think is nobody else’s business."

Seriously, a dime a dozen those thoughts of yours! Most are not in any way based in objective reality or truth since everyone’s truth is wholistically different.

Instead, tell someone how they make you feel. See through the lens of appreciation, compassion, and beauty – recognising the evolutionary truth that everyone is here to grow, develop, and evolve according to their own timeline, choices, and spiritual makeup. Speak from yourself, your feelings, your ideas, your sense. Ask stellar questions to invite another into dialogue.

Have the humility to recognise that you aren’t exactly that important other than perhaps to inspire good thinking, leave positive imprints, and extend good energy from which people feel safe and included contextually – aiding growth and development writ large. Create the environment, but then step out of the way so growth can emerge from within.
