Theeo Principle №87
Lead, Don’t Follow

Fundamental to the embodiment of the leader archetype is the commitment to one’s own knowing. A cultivation of discernment using an internal compass. One that guides and steers your thoughts, words, and deeds. In a world full of noise, projection, and rising toxicity, this curation of your internal knowingness can easily and continually be in a fight to feel clear.

Without constant discipline, practice, and grit, you can too easily be wooed by the hypnosis of social conditioning e.g. “I’m an imposter on this professional stage,” “They obviously know this context or content better than me,” “Everyone says,” or “This is how it is done.”

A leader brings out to the external from within their best and deepest knowing, allowing it to resonate – or not always. The collective attracts and responds to the need of the time, and at the level the collective is ready and willing. More leaders leading from their depth means more ability for the collective to have access to intelligent leadership.

Lead, don’t follow.
