Theeo Principle №645
Work on Loving Yourself

The external world is a reflection of the individuals walking around in it. Your internal narrative, your inner critic, the voices from childhood – these don't remain quiet. They shape the experience others have in your presence, in your decisions, in the culture you create.

Work on loving yourself not as indulgence, but as an operational practice. To actively interfere with the unconscious projections that take the form of heroism, workaholism, perfectionism, victimism, over-giving, and control.

The kindness you allow towards yourself gives permission for others to care for themselves. A system full of people who know how to extend compassion is one that knows trust, rigor, and joy. One full of people lacking in it breeds selfishness, paranoia, and a lot of theatre.

Begin close to home. With yourself. Without apology.

No tenderness for yourself translates to no compassion, no mercy for others.
