Risk Your Bigness

Your shadow isn’t conscious to you – until it is. If it were, you would hardly be operating in its grip.

Your shadow is you yet to be awakened, you yet to be owned, you yet to be made aware of. You and it are one, in a constant internal dance of fear and love.

What surprises most is that the love side of the equation is often what lives in the shadow. The bits and parts you’ve stored away, given little tending to. The parts that carry so much light they would seat you far more fully in your power – if you could only brave holding them long enough.

The pathway into your power is built brick by brick, day by day, interaction by interaction. Operating from an ever more slightly bigger you, with whomever you can find to trial and error. The server at a restaurant. Your mate. Your direct report. The boss three levels up.

It’s all about the risk. Not about the bigness.
